Hi, I'm Crystal- the face (and pack leader!) behind Big Piney K9 Adventures. My love for walking dogs started years ago when I began working with my mentor and friend, Jolyn Broadhead, owner of The Critter Sitter. That experience planted the seed that eventually grew into my dream of starting my own dog hiking business.

I grew up right here in Oakley, and after moving away with my husband to the Heber Valley for about 15 years, the opportunity for us to move back to my hometown arose and we took advantage right away. This community shaped me, and it feels great to now be able to serve it by giving local dogs the chance to run free and explore the outdoors.

I come from a family that's happiest when they're outside, so it's no surprise I'm the same way. Whether it's hiking, mountain biking, camping, or staying active with fitness, I love living an adventurous lifestyle - and I bring that same energy to the dogs I hike with.

For me, Big Piney K9 Adventures isn't just about exercise for dogs - it's about giving them a chance to live their best, happiest lives while also giving their humans peace of mind.
Here at BPK9, I believe dogs deserve more than just a walk around the block. They deserve to run, explore, and connect with nature. That's why I offer safe, off-leash hiking adventures right here on a private family ranch in Oakley, UT.

My hikes are all about giving your dog the exercise, stimulation, and socialization they need to thrive. Whether bounding down a trail with the pack, splashing in a stream, or soaking up mountain air, every dog leaves their hikes happier, calmer, and more fulfilled. Safety is always the top priority, and I treat every pup like they're one of my own.

Big Piney K9 Adventures isn't just about dogs, it's about building trust with their humans and being a resource for our local community. My goal is to give dogs (and their people) a little more joy, freedom, and assurance they're in good hands.
